Tree City of the World is an initiative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the American Arbor Day Foundation. Launched in 2020, the initiative aims to raise awareness and enable good management of trees in cities. Being designated as a Tree City of the World is a great way to increase the focus on urban trees and the great efforts of everyone involved in their management. During this workshop/course, we will go through the different objectives required to get the award and then we will analyze together your conditions for applying.
