Economic valuation of trees is useful in many respects, for example as part of protecting trees during construction, for claims for damages in the event of illegal felling, or to demonstrate the value of trees to politicians and the public.
Services
We perform several different types of economic evaluations:
- Economic valuation through tree inventory.
- Calculation of the replacement cost of trees in the event of damage or unauthorized felling, for example. Here we start from the Alnarp model 2.2.
- Calculation of the economic value of tree ecosystem services through the i-Tree Eco program.
