Birger is a horticulturist with many years of experience as a consultant for green spaces, parks and trees and as a park engineer and supervisor from municipal park operations. Since 2018, he is a certified outdoor environment inspector (BEUM) by RISE and has passed ISA's risk assessment course TRAQ (Tree Risk Assessment Qualification) 2021 and 2025.
Today, Birger works mainly with contract inspection, construction management and client support in matters relating to the outdoor environment, green spaces, plant beds and trees. As a horticulturist, Birger has an extra focus on plant establishment and development, but also a great commitment to the management, operation and maintenance of park environments.
Birger has also worked as a gardening teacher and is still a popular lecturer on issues relating to inspection, construction management, care and maintenance of the outdoor environment. Birger assists in all stages (preferably early) of construction projects as a reviewer, construction manager or inspector.
